During a visit to the checkpoint in the village of Dobrosin, that was attacked by unknown persons early on Thursday, Dačić told reporters that the attack had been carried out in such manner that it was obvious that its aim was to kill policemen and that the attackers were professionals.
“Only pure luck saved the four policemen from the Bujanovac police station, because the police container was hit by 30 shots from various types of weapons that came from different directions,” the minister explained.
Dačić stressed that EULEX had refused to come to the crime scene on Friday, explaining that they had no jurisdiction in the case. He added that the Serbian police (MUP) had requested to conduct a joint investigation so EULEX could investigate in Kosovo and MUP in central Serbia.
